The teaching tool Digital-o-mat is the product of the project "Digital-o-mat | Teaching Ideas at the Push of a Button", funded by the Freiraum-Förderung 2022 of the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education. Since September 2024, the Digital-o-mat has been available online.

The project was carried out at the Center for Continuing Education and Cooperation (ZEWK) of the Technical University of Berlin under the direction of Dr. Alexandra Schulz.

In order to improve our service, we log the selected teaching ideas for statistical purposes. This is done anonymously and without collecting, storing, or sharing personal data with third parties. On this website, data is also collected and stored using the web analysis service software Matomo (see www.matomo.org) on the basis of legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and improvement purposes in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Otherwise, the data protection regulations of the Technical University of Berlin apply:

We use our own Matomo instance, which is operated on web space rented by us and set up in accordance with the recommendations of the "Independent Center for Data Protection" (ULD) Schleswig Holstein. When you visit the pages, your access data is immediately anonymized. Matomo does not use cookies for tracking, but works exclusively on the basis of anonymized IP addresses and website visits. In addition to the pages and files accessed, data on the operating system used, browser, browser plugins (e.g., whether Flash Player is installed), screen resolution, approximate location (e.g., "Berlin," but no specific address), and length of stay are stored.

If you have set the "Do Not Track" option in your browser, Matomo will not store or process any data from your website visit.

If you have not set the "Do Not Track" option and do not agree to the storage and evaluation of your data collected by Matomo, you can object to the storage and use of your data at any time by clicking below. In this case, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, which means that Matomo will not collect any session data. Please note that completely deleting your cookies will also delete the opt-out cookie, which you may need to reactivate.
